Posters should be displayed during all the Symposium. You will be able to fix your poster on March 20th from 8:00 to 9:00 am.

Each poster should not exceed these dimensions:  115 cm height x 90 cm width – 48’ height x 35’ width 
two posters will be displayed on each board
– Each poster will be assigned a number (P n°xx). These numbers will be published on the final program that you will receive a few days before the Symposium.

Abstracts /

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: December 31st, 2018

Abstracts must be submitted ONLINE and in ENGLISH, based on the available Template. The abstract must respect the following framework:

• Purpose
• Materials and methods
• Results
• Conclusion

Abstracts must not exceed 300 words (title and the list of authors not included). Simple figures and tables may be included, but must be inserted as jpeg-files. Text should not include bibliographical references. Caution: the contents of abstracts will have to be for purely scientific purposes. Any commercial promotion is prohibited.

SELECTION After the deadline for Abstract submission (December 31st, 2018), the review process will start. Some abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentation.

Payment of the invoice is requested upon registration.
Scientific contributions will be considered only for duly registered participants.


Registration and Symposium Cocktail Reception:
Full payment is requested when registering (through paypal or bank transfer). All cancellations must be sent to SDRM by emailing to sdrmsociety@gmail.com.

For cancellations received before Monday, March 4th, 2019, midnight CET, 30$ or 26€ will be deducted for administrative costs. After this date, no refund will be possible.

Symposium Cocktail Reception:
Cancellations can be made free of charge before Monday, February 25th, 2019 midnight CET. After this date, no refund will be possible.

Insurance and liability
SDRM does not accept any responsibility for personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to private belonging incurred to the workshop participants and accompanying persons. We advise participants to subscribe an adequate private insurance.

How to reach the SYMPOSIUM VENUE:

The best way to reach NIH is the Metro (subway stop is Medical Center, on the Red Line). From the Union Station (Bethesda Station), take the red line metro, after about 35 minutes, stop at “Medical Center” Station. The visitors center is situated in front of you when coming outside the subway.

Then follow the indications for Building 38A (Lister Hill Center at NIH Library).

When coming to NIH, plan some extra time to get through the security checkpoints at the visitor entrances.

At the visitor entrances, people must show picture IDs in order to receive NIH visitor passes.

Meeting attendees will also be issued NLM visitor passes when they enter the Lister Hill Center.

Metrorail service is available from Washington’s International Airport and from Union Station (railway). Take Metro’s Red Line to the Medical Center Station. The station’s escalators come out on the NIH campus.
